Fundraiser launched for Workers Party in Birmingham 2022

The Workers Party of Britain have launched a fundraiser as preparations continue for the 2022 electoral challenge to Labour in Birmingham. In recent weeks the local party has distributed 29,000 leaflets in B8, B9 and B12 and this coming Friday 3 November is the official launch of party campaigning.

George Galloway, leader of the Workers Party of Britain will speak at a meeting in Highgate this Friday 3 December.

George will be joined by friends of our party, the former Derby North MP and well known socialist Chris Williamson, as well as talented local artist and women’s rights activist Nehanda.

The rally will also be addressed by candidates running in the 2022 local elections for the Workers Party, which has already selected challengers for Brandwood & Kings Heath, Bordesley & Highgate, Balsall Heath West and Alum Rock. Balsall Heath East, Sparkbrook, Shard End, Bordesley Green are all in the process of selection.

Those wishing to apply to run as a candidate can do so in writing to info@workerspartybritain.org or in person at the party offices 274 Moseley Road, B12 0BS on a Saturday or Sunday after 5.00pm.
